Demo Mode and Pilot Terms

Preview purpose

Demo Mode is provided free of charge so litigation professionals can evaluate usability with the bundled sample case. A verified firm may receive a 30-day no-card guided pilot at the selected plan capacity. ShowCase is not legal advice, a system of record, or a substitute for professional judgment, courtroom preparation, or a tested backup plan.

Paid subscriptions

These preview terms cover Demo Mode and guided pilots. Paid plans, final prices, renewal and cancellation information, and applicable purchase terms are presented by the account portal or store before purchase. Manage a subscription with the provider used for purchase.

Fictional data only

Demo Mode permits the built-in fictional practice case and tutorials. Importing real evidence requires a trial, pilot, or paid entitlement. You remain responsible for lawful handling of client information, privileged material, personal data, sealed documents, and evidence.

Pilots and live proceedings

A firm pilot starts only after business-domain verification. Each administrator uses an individual identity with authenticator MFA. Pilot membership grants product access, not case access. Do not use Demo Mode for trials, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, or real evidence.

Limited preview license

Subject to these terms, you receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to install and evaluate the preview. You may not reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, bypass enrollment limits, interfere with the service, or use it to violate law or another person’s rights.

Feedback

You may provide feedback voluntarily. You allow ShowCase Legal to use that feedback without restriction or payment to improve the product, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission. Do not include client information, evidence, or confidential firm material in feedback.

Preview risk and availability

Preview software may contain errors, lose data, change without notice, or stop working. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the preview is provided “as is” without warranties. Enrollment may be paused or ended at any time for safety, security, operational, or policy reasons.
